Phonics and Reading

Phonics: Please ensure your child's little green Read, Write Inc sounds book comes in to school every day. We encourage the children to practise the sounds they are learning each day at home, and really value your support with this. 

PE

Ladybird Class have PE on Tuesday. 

Please make sure your child is wearing the correct PE kit on PE days. The school PE kit is: trainers, black jogging bottoms, white t shirt and a black jumper or their school jumper. Please also ensure that your child is not wearing any jewellery and that if they have long hair it is tied up. 

Library

We also visit the school library on Tuesday. Please can you send  your child's library book in to school with them every Tuesday so they can change their book. We hope you will then enjoy reading your child's new library book to them when they bring it home!  

 If your child does not bring their library book in they will not be able to choose a new book to bring home until the following week.
